An NFT is the most unique way of tracking ownership of a digital asset. Being stored on a blockchain, it makes it much harder to launder an NFT.

Celebrities, companies and other big names are getting involved and increasing awareness of using these NFTs. 

In 2021, NFT sales skyrocketed up to $10.7 Billion dollars in just Q3; which was 8x Q2.

Mattel launched Hot Wheels NFTs and created 40 new designs for fans and collectors.

Taco Bell created NFTs about their Spicy Potato Soft Tacos and then donated the proceeds to the Taco Bell Foundation.

Atari launches artwork designs on the WAX Network.

Nike created digital shoe NFTs

In December of 2021, even a winemaker named Robert Mondavi used NFTs to authenticate a limited series of wine that was sold to collectors alongside the actual bottle of wine.

Luxury brands such as Bulgari, Cartier, Hublot, Louis Vuitton and even Prada have joined the platform.
